Shepard Co collaborated with Jude Heslin Di Leo. on the prototypes for his Gibbous range of furniture. The furniture uses solid solid Maple, Chestnut, bronze (cabinet) and English Bridle Leather (as shown). The entire range was designed so it could be fabricated in alternate materials, including solid walnut, back english bridle leather and blackened bronze. All the pieces were designed by creating tracings of the lunar calendar, in particular the gibbous phase, in which all its curved shapes are derived.
