Another celebrated Steven Starr restaurant, Upland is an expansive California style farm to table restaurant in New York, NY. Whilst Design and Fabrications Director at Friends and Family, Justin Allen worked with the design firm Roman and Williams to fabricate complex furniture and fixtures for the restaurant as well as the full build out of the exclusive bar and dining room on the lower level. Roman and Williams signature mood lighting showcases the subtleties of the design and craftsmanship throughout the space including the hand bent copper framework, custom white oak tambour wall treatments, and hand-stitched leather.
